They had me at "Hello". From the time I called, the first customer service person walked me through every detail, including making sure an oversized picture would have white glove service and would be wrapped properly, The communication was stellar! Constant email and/or text updates when the team would be arriving, clear communication once my items were stored, when the truck took off across America, it's arrival at NY/NJ warehouse, and ultimately a personalized call to schedule final arrival of items. I barely have moved in my life, and the organization and care that were taken of my items (nothing broken or scratched), to making me feel they cared with the constant communication.
I would highly recommend hiring CA-NY Express Movers if you prefer the type of experience I had. I'd give 6+ stars for clear concise communication, price, care!

who provided an estimate, contract, and advice about insurance; continuing through the pickup in NY to the unloading in San Francisco. The pickup crew arrived on time and wrapped everything carefully. We received regular updates about the progress of our shipment across the country. The dispatcher Alex kept us informed about the timing for delivery in San Francisco, and once again, the crew was on time and very efficient. We recommend this company without reservation.

Everything from the initial communication and quote to the packing and delivery was handled smoothly and with care.

They communicate everything, provide a clear cost expectation upfront (and stick to it), and everyone involved in the process (from booking the timeframe and coordinating details to the strong guys who do the literal heavy lifting) has been absolutely fabulous. Would 100% recommend to anyone making a cross-country move!

My therapist (haha!) had done the reverse a few years ago and highly recommended CA-NY Express. Knowing that a move like that could easily cost $8K, I checked them out. Sure enough, it was half that.
But it wasn't a "cheap move". They were not only both professional and helpful - but buttoned up. They're super communicative before and during the move, which left me doing what I needed to do - everything else. It took them all of 3 hrs to completely empty out my BK apartment, and 1 /2 hours to move my stuff into my LA apt. I can't express enough how much weight they took off my shoulders. I don't know how it could have gone any better. In fact, the only thing that was damaged was a table top I scratched myself unpacking. One more thing. I had a few heavier / bulkier items that needed to be brought up a spiral staircase to a loft space in LA - including the 55" TV and, desk and large chair. Their LA team did that for me without flinching. Do it. Don't worry about a thing. They got you.

The price for the entire move was very reasonable and I super loved how I got email updates daily where my shipment was - it got to the East coast super fast in about a week. Would def recommend for anyone looking for direct crosscountry movers.
